The React Developer will build and maintain front-end features, communicate with clients, and ensure effective deployment using Docker, while working in a small remote team.
About Us
Episub is a small company/team
owned and run by a software engineer. We're located in Victoria with a
focus on Melbourne, but remote working most days — we have been remote
working for 5 years. We develop software for the age care sector,
working on products to help aged care companies automate their processes
and provide better care to their clients.

- Go for back-end services
- React for the front-end
- PostgreSQL for the database
- Docker containers for deployment
- Kubernetes in the cloud for hosting
About You
- 3+ years working as a React software developer
- Experienced working with the web and its underlying technologies (HTML/CSS)
- Capable of taking a task from idea to completion and deployment
- Comfortable with Linux, Docker, and git
- Able to navigate the Javascript ecosystem, and manage tooling around React projects
Responsibilities
- Communicating directly with clients around features and testing
- Work as part of a small team
- Take responsibility for the front end, building features, fixing bugs, updating, and maintaining packages
- Take a new feature from conception to deployment
- Ensuring the repeatability of development environment through appropriate Docker configurations (testing and production)
- Occasionally visiting clients in person (pending restrictions)
