Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete Packaging Design and Packaging Deployment for Innovation/Growth projects and productivity projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct activities to generate appropriate packaging information, using sampling and supplier management, and pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In this role, you will plan and conduct process development activities (e.g. packaging design and specifications, packaging scale up, commissioning etc.) and help with planning and the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. You will also create technical reports, which will require your skills in analysis and interpretation of results that will lead to conclusions and recommendations; create and maintain accurate packaging specifications; and create intellectual property to drive our competitive advantage.

Job Summary

- Innovation:
- Participate in business reviews for new projects, launches, and new product developments, collaborating with the Marketing, B&D, and PCM teams.
- Ideate new products and define how they will be manufactured, designing plans and structures from the primary packaging to the final packaging.
- Plant Support:
- Provide technical support to the 5 production lines, each with multiple primary and secondary packaging machines.
- Resolve issues related to packaging materials and ensure the smooth operation of production lines.
- External Manufacturers:
- Ensure that products manufactured by external suppliers meet quality standards and specifications.
- Sustainability & Productivity:
- Evaluate and propose projects to reduce plastic usage, design recyclable packaging, and meet sustainability targets for 2030.
- Identify opportunities to reduce product costs and increase profitability.
Requirements
- Education: Chemical Engineer, Food Engineer, Industrial Designer, or related field.
- Experience: +2 years of Experience in the food industry or production
- Skills:
- Leadership and project management skills.
- Teamwork and effective communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize activities.
- Self-directed and proactive in finding solutions.
- Languages: English B2 (Upper Intermediate).
