These solutions deliver comprehensive coding, auditing, and revenue integrity capabilities, combining clinical understanding, automation, and predictive analytics to provide integrated, accuracy-enhancing tools for faster, more efficient capture of compliant, high-quality revenue.
As an established market leader in the global markets, we are rapidly expanding our presence in Australia. To strengthen our Australian team, we are seeking to appoint a Program Manager – Revenue Cycle Management.
Role in Brief:
As a strategic leader within the Australian Implementation & Adoption Team, you will orchestrate the delivery of large-scale, multi-stream programs for Solventum’s Revenue Cycle Management portfolio. These programs typically encompass multiple interrelated projects involving complex system integrations, organisational change, and workflow transformation across major healthcare networks.
You will demonstrate high-level expertise in program governance, taking full accountability for the cohesive delivery of outcomes that align with client strategic goals and Solventum’s business objectives. Operating with significant autonomy, you will oversee the interdependencies between projects, managing resources across the program to ensure benefits realisation, risk management, and financial profitability.
You will serve as the primary strategic interface for client executives and internal leadership, moving beyond day-to-day task management to focus on the broader roadmap. You will mentor Project Managers and ensure a consistent, high-standard delivery methodology is applied across the program lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of complex RCM programs, ensuring alignment between multiple constituent projects and the client’s long-term strategic objectives.
- Establish robust program governance frameworks and roadmaps; partner with client executives to define success metrics, scope boundaries, and benefits realisation plans.
- Direct and coordinate diverse teams—including Project Managers, Solution Architects, Technical leads, Solution Advisors, and Adoption Specialists—to ensure resource synergies and efficient delivery across the program.
- Act as the trusted advisor and senior escalation point for C-suite and executive stakeholders, proactively managing expectations and driving high customer satisfaction.
- Manage the overall program budget, profitability, and resource forecasting; identify and mitigate cross-project risks and issues that impact the broader program critical path.
- Oversee the high-level change management strategy to ensure organisational readiness and long-term adoption of Solventum technologies.
- Provide clear, concise executive-level status reporting to internal and external steering committees, highlighting strategic progress, risks, and value delivery.
- Leverage Solventum’s global best practices to drive continuous improvement; coach and mentor Project Managers to strengthen the team’s delivery capabilities and leadership skills.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (healthcare management, informatics, engineering, or similar).
- An advanced degree such as an MBA is highly desirable.
- PRINCE2, PMP, PMBOK, or PMI certification preferred.
Background:
- 10+ years of project or program management experience, with at least 5 years leading complex programs or portfolios in healthcare IT or RCM environments.
- Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar budgets and orchestrating multiple concurrent workstreams in a vendor/client environment.
- Deep understanding of the Australian healthcare landscape, clinical coding processes, and revenue cycle operations.
- Extensive experience influencing and negotiating with C-level executives and navigating complex political environments within health organizations.
- Demonstrated success in benefits realisation and strategic planning.
- Advanced skills with program management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) and presentation tools.
Key Capabilities:
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to executive boards.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to see the "big picture" while understanding operational details.
- Strong financial acumen and commercial awareness.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional conflict resolution, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical and operational challenges into business impacts for non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a focus on empowering others.
