Location: Melbourne (Hybrid)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join us in our Yarra Falls office. You will be responsible for the execution of QA activities, acting as an independent assessor of software quality for the Order Routing Management System (ORMS). Our team operates within Global Development team and is expected to work collaboratively across departmental and extra-departmental teams in addition to supporting continuous improvement and project related activity.

A role you will love

  • Own end‑to‑end test analysis, design, implementation, and execution 
  • Apply risk‑based testing to ensure appropriate coverage and reduce delivery risk 
  • Translate requirements into clear, prioritised test cases using formal test design techniques 
  • Ensure strong traceability across requirements, test cases, and defects 
  • Execute tests and manage defects using recognised test and defect management tools

 

What will you bring to the role?

We are looking for someone with strong Quality Engineering or Software Testing expertise, with hands‑on experience analysing designs and specifications, assessing risk, defining test cases, and identifying test data requirements.

  • Experience maintaining traceability to requirements, executing tests, investigating issues, logging defects, capturing test evidence, and reporting on test progress
  • A strong passion for quality, with curiosity to ask the right questions and continuously improve outcomes
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • A collaborative mindset, focused on delivering high‑quality outcomes and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Experience working with stock market trading systems (preferred)
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience (preferred)
  • ISTQB Foundation certification
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or a related discipline
