Quality Assurance Analyst

Location : Melbourne

Job specification

  • Working on the development and maintenance of industry leading Superannuation software - Acurity and SuperConnector

  • Help engineering squad meet its development goals, which involve producing high-quality releases

  • Undertake detailed testing activities using system, integration, regression, environment and other testing disciplines

  • Frame test plans, review those written by your peers and influence the development of these products

  • Have the opportunity to guide our efforts to improve the coverage of our automated testing suite

Skills Required:

  • 3 years of experience in a Software Quality Assurance role

  • Understanding of the Superannuation industry and fund administration processes

  • Sound verbal and writing skills, reflected in the ability to convert business requirements into test plans

  • Experience in testing web applications and APIs

  • An understanding of Databases and ability to write SQL queries

  • Experience in using applications and tools used in the SDLC, such as Git and Jira

  • Familiarity with Superannuation registry software especially Acurity will present a significant advantage

  • Experience building Clearing House or Superstream Gateway software will present an advantage

  • Experience using test automation frameworks and tools such as Playwright, TestComplete, Postman and SoapUI will present an advantage

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new ways of collaborative working
