Role Overview:
The SPC (Statistical Process Control) Engineer plays a key role in stabilizing and continuously improving manufacturing quality by applying statistical methodologies to production processes. This position works closely with Process Engineers and Process Integration Engineers to enhance process capability and proactively prevent excursions (abnormal events). The SPC Engineer also drives improvements in SPC-related business processes and implements effective monitoring methods to ensure stable and improved product quality.

- アサインされたプロジェクトのスケジュール管理と実行
- 統計管理(SPC)の基本コンセプトを理解し, 各エリアと連携してSPC活動を改善
- SPCシステムの開発, 生産適用, 最適化, および革新的なソリューションの提供
- ビジネスプロセス改善および品質向上施策の実施
- SPCシステムのトラブルシューティング対応
- ローカルおよびグローバルのプロジェクトチームと連携し, 最適なソリューションを提供
- 日々のSPC Health Check活動をリードし, PEE/PIEと協力して慢性的な異常の検出と継続的な低減を推進
必須要件:
- エンジニアリング関連分野の学士号, またはそれに相当する実務経験
- チーム内外との円滑なコミュニケーションと協働スキル
- 日本語でのコミュニケーションが可能な方

Role Overview:
The SPC (Statistical Process Control) Engineer plays a key role in stabilizing and continuously improving manufacturing quality by applying statistical methodologies to production processes. This position works closely with Process Engineers and Process Integration Engineers to enhance process capability and proactively prevent excursions (abnormal events). The SPC Engineer also drives improvements in SPC-related business processes and implements effective monitoring methods to ensure stable and improved product quality.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute schedules for assigned projects
- Understand fundamental concepts of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and collaborate with各 manufacturing areas to enhance SPC activities
- Develop, implement, optimize, and provide innovative solutions for the SPC system
- Drive business process improvement and quality enhancement initiatives
- Troubleshoot issues related to the SPC system
- Work with both local and global project teams to deliver optimal solutions
- Lead daily SPC health check activities and collaborate with PEE/PIE teams to detect and reduce chronic abnormalities on an ongoing basis
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Basic Japanese communication skills (JLPT N3 or above)
- Basic English communication skills (equivalent to high school graduate level)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of general Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis
- Basic understanding of statistics and statistical calculations
- Fundamental understanding of product structures
- Familiarity with Defense Line concepts
- Problem-solving skills based on analytical thinking
- Ability to understand, present, teach, and develop technical content
- Understanding of data flow between product measurement systems and IT hosts
- Time-management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Basic operation skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Programming skills (R, Python, SQL, etc.)
