About the role:

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, performance, and overall quality of a well-established and widely used solution with a strong market position, which has recently been merged with a parallel platform serving a complementary target audience.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in software testing and test automation, a deep understanding of software development principles, and strong problem-solving skills. You will work closely with developers, functional analysts, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives.

Which tasks can you expect?

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements and translate them into test cases

  • Execute manual and automated tests to ensure software quality

  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools

  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Proactively discuss with the team to achieve better solutions

  • Collaborate with the team according to the agreed priorities with the product owner

  • End-to-end responsibility for assigned software functionalities

  • Good understanding of the application, domain, and user stories


What do you have to offer?

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills (verbal and written)

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role in software development

  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Ranorex, Playwright)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)

  • Experience testing APIs using tools such as Postman

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of Payroll processes and systems is a plus

  • Familiarity with SQL and databases (particularly IBM DB2) is a plus

  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., C#, Java) is a plus

  • Knowledge of BDD practices such as Reqnroll is a plus

  • Familiarity with performance and security testing is a plus
