We are seeking a talented QA Automation Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts and establish best practices for automation testing within the development team. Responsibilities- Develop and implement a robust automation testing strategy that aligns with product goals and timelines.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance on best practices for testing and automation.
- Design and maintain testing frameworks and test automation tools.
- Collaborate with product management and development teams to define testing requirements and create automated test suites.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Establish metrics for automation efficiency and effectiveness, continuously improving the QA process.
- Conduct regular reviews of test results and provide feedback for product improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends in testing technology and methodologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automation.
- Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong programming skills in one or more scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies including Agile/Scrum.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
