Job Description
You will be responsible for the presentation, development and production of high-quality, and highly technical responses to RFIs and RFPs that comply with Motorola Solutions branding principles. Participating in all aspects of production for final responses submission, you need to have a good understanding of bid management principles.
Bid Production
Your role in bid production is to provide desktop publisher knowhow as you are responsible for the design, format, and final production of proposal templates, documents and related materials. This may include both traditional print and electronic versions. Preparation and submittal of correspondence to clients is required.
You can make your mark with your excellent organisation skills via the creation of a structure for easy access to reusable knowledge databases and libraries that you will use and maintain. Creative and computer literate with many years hands on experience with Google Apps and the Microsoft suite, you will be responsible for knowledge management within the presales organization, a word-smith writing structure engaging tender content and using your information design skills to increase the business strategy value of our organisation’s intellectual property.
You will be responsible for:

Manage pre-sales responses to client prequalification's, statements of interest, requests for tender/ information/ proposal/ information.

Interpret RFP requirements to ensure compliance with submission requirements

Develop business relationships to facilitate identification and sharing of relevant information and best practices whilst coordinating multiple bid responses simultaneously.

Monitor and maintain tight timelines.

Maintain version control of multiple documents.
-
Timely completion of projects and bids within narrow time windows.

Identify and implement innovative ways to improve the internal proposal process.

Tailor proposal responses to reflect the planned strategy, incorporating feedback from subject matter experts.

Maintain national database of generic company information, ensuring content is current and correct.

Source graphics and create cover designs to develop and maintain corporate proposal templates and synthesize proposal materials into final client ready package

Draft proposal portions such as introduction, overview, project approach and cover letter.

Implement strategic marketing initiatives to meet Vision Statement and Corporate Marketing Plan objectives.

Create qualifications packages, project descriptions, award submittals and project descriptions.

Support proposal development with capture managers from capture to award.
-
Manage past performance citations, resumes and proposal reuse materials’ libraries.

Interface with internal and external stakeholders to gather proposal document data.

Lead production effort such as desktop publishing formatting, light editing, printing, copying, tab covers, producing binders and electronic media.

Develop shared directories for Request for Proposal information.

Maintain proposal milestones schedule like issue and review dates, kickoff meetings and due dates.

Develop proposals, SOQs and presentations to deliver materials meeting RFP requirements, quality standards and overall strategy.
Basic Requirements
Education and Qualifications
Essential:

Advanced skills in G-Suite collaboration tools and Microsoft Office Suite

Experience in design based software

Minimum of three years experience responding to RFP/RFI’s and unsolicited proposal and technical writing experience.

Hands on experience maintaining a database of common RFP/RFI responses

Experience with desktop publishing and documentation formatting tools including Microsoft Office suite.
