At AMS Group, we’re building more than systems—we’re building the future of how we work.

We’re looking for an experienced Project & Technology Systems Owner to lead the implementation and optimization of UKG Ready, a Human Capital Management (HCM) and payroll system that will transform how we manage our people, data, and processes.

This is no ordinary systems role – it’s your chance to own a project that touches every corner of our business. As the technical owner of our HCM, you’ll be responsible for the effective implementation of the UKG Ready system. From project planning and configuration to integration and optimization, you’ll ensure the system delivers seamless experiences for employees and stakeholders alike.

What’s critical

You’ll act as the system’s subject matter expert, guiding its configuration to suit our unique business needs and ensuring a seamless rollout and embedment. Managing system integrations and collaborating with internal teams and external partners, you’ll ensure data flows effortlessly between platforms, enabling accurate reporting and smarter decision-making.

In addition to overseeing the technical side, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to streamline workflows, improve processes, and drive adoption of the new system. This includes designing training materials, running workshops, and providing ongoing support to ensure employees and managers feel confident in using the platform.

What Success Looks Like

Your success in this role will be measured by the implementation of the project and the system’s ability to enhance employee and business experiences. By simplifying processes, reducing manual tasks, and enabling real-time access to data, you’ll ensure our teams are empowered with the tools they need to succeed.

You’ll also play a crucial role in supporting compliance requirements, managing security, and maintaining data integrity, ensuring the system is both user-friendly and reliable.

As a trusted partner, you’ll help build excitement for this transformation, ensuring the system becomes a valued part of our day-to-day operations.

Who are we, and why should you apply?

At the AMS Group, we’re more than a collection of businesses – we’re the force behind trusted Australian brands transforming mobility and energy solutions. From roadside assistance and EV charging to automotive batteries and travel benefits, we connect people, ideas, and technology to power a better tomorrow. With backing from Australia’s Mobility Clubs (NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAA, RAC, and RACT), we’re on a mission to keep people moving and businesses thriving.

This is your chance to lead a project that will leave a lasting legacy across AMS Group. By combining your technical expertise, project management skills, and passion for innovation, you’ll help us create a smarter, more efficient workplace. If you’re an accomplished systems expert with a deep understanding of HCM platforms like UKG Ready and have a knack for solving complex challenges, we’d love to hear from you.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
