Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Structural Project Engineer with Buildings design experience to join our growing team. This position can be based in LA, San Diego, or Scottsdale, AZ.Responsibilities & QualificationsDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
- Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
- Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
- Coordinating with staff and clients on projects
QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDING EDUCATION and/or JOB EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
- Master’s Degree would be considered an asset.
- P.E. license preferred; S.E. license would be considered an asset.
- 3-6 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects as a Structural Engineer is required.
- Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g. RISA, SAP, RAM).
- Working knowledge of REVIT.
- Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
- Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.
- High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
- Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $78,000 - $120,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
