The Project Manager is responsible for managing projects related to Automation implementation and providing support to clients as an account manager. The individual in this role will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, manage project timelines, and ensure successful delivery of our automation solutions. This position is open for Australian Citizens and or residents only.
What a day in the life looks like:
- Lead end-to-end AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robots) project delivery, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Accountability for all project deliverables across AMR system, ERP Software Implementation and conveyer and racking systems implementation
- Working part of a complex program delivery team working in amongst an operational and functional site
- Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, develop project plans, and ensure successful solution delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Operations) to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, documentation, and provide regular updates to clients and leadership.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and addressing inquiries or issues.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, conduct regular meetings, and ensure compliance with company policies and best practices.
- Necessary onsite work 25 - 50% of week
What you bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in project and account management, within the supply chain or automation industry
- 5+ Years Vendor Management, Supply Chain Management
- Desired Experience in Automation, Robotics and conveyor and racking Systems implementations
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Skilled in project management methodologies; PRINCE2, SCRUM, or Agile certifications preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
