Title: Project Manager
Location: Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane
Employment Type: 12 Months FTC
Start Date: June 2025
Reporting to: Program Manager
Endeavour Group is Australia’s largest retail drinks network under the Dan Murphy’s and BWS brands. We also run the country's largest portfolio of licensed hotels.
Endeavour Group demerged from Woolworths in 2021 and as part of the transition is taking the opportunity to transform how we operate as an independent business and establish supporting technology.
The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering the transition of our retail management reporting from Woolworths to Endeavour Group. The role requires managing dependencies, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring the transition meets commercial, technical and business requirements and does not disrupt our BAU teams along the way.
This role requires collaboration across multiple teams, including the PMO, data and AI, other transformation programs, technology and business teams to ensure successful delivery and alignment with Endeavour Group’s strategic objectives.
Previous experience managing the delivery of a Reporting & Analytics transition or migration would be highly beneficial.
Job DescriptionThis role involves end-to-end project management, from validating the business case and operating within organizational frameworks (Delivery & Governance) to managing all stage gates. You'll be responsible for agreeing and managing realistic expectations with the Sponsor and Steering Committee regarding project scope, time, cost, and quality, and ensuring delivery certainty. Key is maintaining all project risks within acceptable parameters and ensuring architectural alignment with business and technology requirements.
You will secure and manage project resources, ensuring they have the necessary experience, and establish clear delegated authority and accountability. This includes developing direct reports and ensuring all project resources receive development opportunities. You'll also manage supplier vendor alignment with project goals and values, and gather lessons learned to improve future capabilities.
For data analytics, you'll lead the transition of Reporting and Analytics capabilities, ensuring alignment with business and technical needs. This involves coordinating technical and business readiness activities, engaging with internal transition teams, and ensuring post-migration stabilization and incident resolution. Finally, you'll implement governance and documentation frameworks for tracking test cases and issues, and foster cross-functional collaboration across data&AI, technology, and vendor teams.
Previous experience managing the delivery of a Reporting & Analytics transition or migration would be highly beneficial.
