What you’ll do
The Project Manager is a critical role, representing the Hogarth business and collaborating closely with distributed Hogarth teams across the AU and APAC region in the delivery of world-class Comms and Press materials for our automotive client.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, particularly Creative and Production, your primary tasks will include organising and coordinating schedules, distributing workload, tracking progress of projects. Operating at the centre of the delivery team, you’ll be managing internal and external timelines, expectations, and task prioritisation at a campaign project level, ensuring projects across PR, Communications, and localisation work for our client's IMG (APAC region) and Australian marketing teams. With high levels of attention to detail, you’ll be the administrative champion of the team - responsible for ensuring production workflows are properly defined and adhered to, while maintaining high levels of communication and ensuring high production values at all times.
You’ll be passionate about the communications and advertising world, and take pride in ensuring projects are produced to a high standard and are delivered both on time and within agreed budget.
Whilst your base of work will be a Hogarth/WPP office, you will be required to work from the client’s office 1 to 2 days per week.
Reporting lines
This role reports to the Content Lead, and will be based in Melbourne. It is a member of Hogarth’s Content Studios team.
What you'll do
Project & Account Management
- Coordinate and ensure all parties follow the agreed workflows and manage them through the process
- Ensure that there is clear division and allocation of workload among team members
- Ensure that trackers are updated at all times
- Monitor timelines and manage client expectations
- Advise line manager on resource gaps and flag potential issues
- Ensure account delivers consistently against all contractual obligations including SLAs and KPIs
- Identify bottle necks/pain points for the validation network, suggest resolution and advise
Validator Network Management
- Review and organise team workloads to be achievable and efficient, create a balanced work schedule and ensure work is of high standards and delivered on time
- Flag any potential team issues to the line manager and be actively involved in finding a solution
- Highlight and resolve quality control issues with the network
What you'll bring
- Likely to have at least 4 years Project Management/Client Management background in an ad agency or in-house creative department or language service agency
- Experience managing multi-market projects
- Experience working on global brands, ideally across all media, including print, interactive and film
- Experience working on localisation or linguistic projects will be a bonus
- Demonstrable experience managing total creative workflow, i.e, internal briefing, briefing to vendors/studios, managing key milestones/deadlines, presentations/internal approvals, executions, delivery
- Proven project management skills
- Self-driven, organised and have an eye for detail
- Proficient with technology and tools
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in high-pressure situations and tight time frames
- A hands-on, can do approach to solving problems
