This is an exciting opportunity to join our project team based in our vibrant Melbourne Office.

As a project manager you will be empowered to ensure flawless delivery in order to meet our customers’ expectations and needs. This will include on time and on budget delivery of our many and varied projects. You will build and maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure continued success.

You will be looked upon for your organizational skills and technical innovation to help a fast-paced team perform at the highest level. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Plan, coordinate and prepare project deliverables required to initiate, develop, and execute assigned projects.
  • Supply leadership and manage projects to meet performance and project requirements.
  • Ensure project financial status is regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Ensure a high quality of work and compliance to OHS&E standards.
  • Effectively manage customer/contractor relationships 
  • Identify opportunities, improvements and solutions that will enable you to plan and drive continuous initiatives for organizational improvement.
  • Demonstrate elevated levels of disciplined, professionalism, ethics, and accuracy in delivery of works under limited timeframe pressures.

What are we looking for:

  • A Trade Certificate in Electrical / HVAC or an Engineering Qualification with BMS or HVAC Experience 
  • Be able to adapt, develop through digital transformation.
  • A strong background in Building Automation Systems and their overall design intent, controller product design and alternative solutions.
  • Effective handling of project reviews and handling by conducting FAT (Factory Acceptance test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test).
  • Competent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio. BIM and AutoCAD skills would be an advantage to the applicant.
  • Standardizing of the deliverables including software, points list, documentation etc.
  • Keep up to date with the technical aspects of the job and be willing to undertake training from time to time as needed.
