Your New Role and Responsibilities
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact across a portfolio of dynamic IT projects? Leidos Australia is seeking a skilled Program Financial Analyst to play a key role in driving financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making.
In this role, you will:
Act as a strategic business partner to program and project teams, offering financial advice that aligns with operational goals and contractual commitments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across finance, delivery, and operations to ensure alignment and transparency.
Provide decision support through cost analysis, scenario modelling, and risk assessment to enable proactive financial management.
Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis, translating data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by leveraging historical trends and performance metrics to guide planning and resource allocation.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems.

What You’ll Bring to Make An Impact
Proven ability to build strong business partnerships and effectively manage a diverse range of stakeholders across functions and geographies.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to navigating competing priorities and driving outcomes under tight deadlines.
Solid foundation in financial management, reporting, and governance, with a track record of supporting project delivery teams and contributing to program success.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook, to support data-driven decision-making and reporting.
Experience working in a global business environment is highly valued, particularly with financial systems such as CostPoint, OAC, or OBI.
