About Project
This role is an opportunity for you to join the highly successful Southern Program Alliance is contracted by Victorian Government to remove most dangerous and congested level crossings. This is a critical infrastructure project with significant public impact.
The Opportunity
Establish, implement, and maintain a Quality Management System and controls to ensure successful delivery of all aspects of the project from development through to Final Completion and Handover. Leading across the program and ensuring safety standards are achieved; this role delivers results through effectives leadership to empower others and establish the targets to be accomplished.
Responsibilities
Provide training, support and auditing for continual improvement of the management system and review the continual suitability of quality and completion process and practices across all functional areas.
Develop and guide strategies, policies, and plans to meet organizational goals, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Translate organizational objectives into actionable quality strategies, championing stakeholder needs.
Develop, manage, and evaluate the organization's assurance programs, audit schemes, and control systems.
Manage internal and coordinate external audit schedules for subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (e.g., lot closures, RFI turnover, NCR rates, As-Built documentation).
Required Skills and Competencies
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, social planning, community development or a related field
- 10 plus years of Civil construction experience including 5 years of experience in similar leadership functions.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a complex project environment
- Auditing qualification preferred but not essential
- Current Driver License and own vehicle.
