Job Description:

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation professional with demonstrated capability in managing complex claims and driving meaningful recovery and RTW outcomes.
 

As the Program Lead, you will oversee the delivery of the program, including triaging claims, facilitating strategic conferencing, and developing tailored strategies to support injured workers. You will manage end-to-end reporting, task oversight, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage and review long-term claims to identify recovery and RTW opportunities

  • Facilitate strategic conferencing and develop tailored recovery strategies

  • Oversee end-to-end reporting, task management and strategy implementation

  • Represent the program in virtual and in-person forums and meetings

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Apply legislative knowledge to ensure compliance and entitlement accuracy

  • Coordinate personalised recovery and capacity-building plans

  • Mentor and support staff to build capability and consistency
     

Key Requirements

  • Strong experience in Workers’ Compensation and complex claims management

  • Demonstrated ability to progress recovery, capacity and sustainable RTW outcomes

  • Proven experience leading or contributing to strategic programs

  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and entitlement frameworks

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills

  • Highly developed communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to interpret data, prioritise work and manage competing deadlines

  • Confident facilitator with experience running conferences or case reviews
