Your New Role and Responsibilities
Deliver monthly variance analysis and financial reporting across a range of programs and projects.
Support budget compilation and review by bringing together actual performance and prior budget figures.
Coordinate end-to-end cost analysis, including cost allocation, establishing cost control systems, collecting and validating data, managing costs and preparing reports to maintain the Company’s cost accounting system.
Oversee the administration and reporting of overhead budgets, charge codes and cost allocation.
Work closely with the business on indirect cost rates and compliance with Cost Principles, and partner with delivery and operations teams to provide practical financial guidance that supports organisational goals.
What You’ll Bring to Make An Impact
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, with 2–3 years’ finance experience in a project-based environment (budget development, financial control, forecasting, variance analysis and business partnering).
Curious and proactive, with a strong feel for the business, able to spot issues early, nurture trusted relationships and partner with stakeholders to support company objectives.
Strong planning, organisational and time management skills; able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines, communicate clearly (written and verbal), collaborate well with others and maintain excellent attention to detail.
Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) and capability in financial management, reporting and governance; a track record of supporting successful project delivery teams, contributing confidently both independently and as part of a close-knit, high-performing team; quick to learn new systems and processes, and committed to improving ways of working and solving complex problems.
Experience in a global business is valued, with familiarity in systems such as CostPoint (or similar) and OAC/OBI.
