About the role
If you’re passionate about keeping technology running smoothly and love solving complex problems, this is your chance to make a real impact. At Bunnings, we’re building the best experience for our customers and team members – and our Technology team makes it happen. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our production services, helping to maintain stability, minimise risk and drive improvements that matter. Inspiring you to give it a red hot go is what we’re all about.
You’ll work closely with our Production Services Manager and technology teams to coordinate major incidents, manage problems and champion knowledge sharing across the business. This is a role where your expertise will help shape better outcomes for thousands of team members and customers every day.
What’s involved
This isn’t just about managing processes – it’s about creating pathways that are yours to build. You’ll:
- Take the lead during major incidents, coordinating resources and updates to restore critical services quickly and effectively.
- Drive problem management initiatives, reducing recurring issues and improving system reliability.
- Support safe and secure change management processes to minimise risk during production changes.
- Own and evolve Knowledge Management processes by maintaining accurate ITSM documentation and standards and promote self-service content adoption to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Monitor SLA compliance and generate performance reports, analyse service data to identify trends, and drive continuous service improvement initiatives in line with ITIL practices.
- Help maintain accurate CMDB records to support better decision-making and governance.
- Taking advantage of AI initiatives, identify and implement service improvement opportunities across ITSM processes.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders during incidents and planned changes.
About you
You have significant experience in incident and problem management within dynamic, enterprise-level settings. You remain composed under pressure, work well with others and excel at building trust with stakeholders. You’ll be part of a supportive, approachable team that values curiosity, continuous improvement and teamwork. If you enjoy tackling challenges and driving improvements, you’ll be a great fit. You can explain technical topics clearly and simply, have excellent organisational skills and can prioritise tasks effectively under pressure. Your approach is both customer-focused and collaborative.
You will additionally have:
- Extensive experience in incident and problem management within large enterprise technology teams.
- Strong background in CMDB
- ITIL v4 certification is required.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and report on trends with a passion for reporting.
- Solid understanding of ITSM frameworks (ITIL v3/v4) and experience with tools such as ServiceNow.
- Relevant IT qualifications; Agile or PRINCE2 certifications are highly regarded.
