Product Owner

Chubb is on a significant digital transformation journey, reshaping how brokers and customers experience commercial insurance. As a Digital Product Owner, you will sit at the heart of that agenda — working face to face with your squad, stakeholders, and leadership team, taking full ownership of a digital product end to end. From discovery and strategy through to delivery, measurement, and continuous improvement, this is a role for someone who leads with data, thinks in outcomes, and brings sharp prioritisation discipline to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
 

What You'll do
Product Ownership

• Own your product end to end — from vision and strategy through to delivery, launch, and ongoing measurement
• Define and maintain a prioritised product roadmap that reflects business value, customer needs, and delivery capacity
• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria; manage and groom the backlog with rigour and intent
• Lead product demos and launches, articulating value clearly to both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
• Remove blockers, manage cross-functional dependencies, and keep delivery moving at pace

Data, Metrics & Decisions

• Define success metrics upfront for every initiative — and use them to drive decisions throughout delivery, not just at launch
• Use data and customer insight to validate priorities, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Analyse product performance data to generate actionable insights — using them to drive better processes, improve referral rates, and sharpen prioritisation decisions
• Apply structured prioritisation frameworks to balance competing demands from business, technology, compliance, and distribution stakeholders
• Translate complex data into clear, concise narratives that drive alignment and decision-making
   

What you bring

• Proven end-to-end digital product ownership — you have owned a product from concept to live, with clear accountability for outcomes not just delivery
• A data-driven mindset — you define metrics before you build, and you use them to make decisions and course-correct
• Sharp prioritisation discipline — you can make the right call under pressure, say no with confidence, and explain your reasoning clearly
• Strong technical foundation — comfortable with SDLC, agile delivery, solution design, and analytics
• Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder environments- influencing across legal, compliance, technology, distribution, and global counterparts without direct authority
• Excellent communication skills — precise, confident, and tailored to your audience whether that's an engineer or a C-suite stakeholder
• A drive to refine and automate — you look for opportunities to streamline processes, reduce manual touchpoints, and push straight- through processing as a default, not an afterthought

Advantageous

• Experience in insurance or a similarly regulated industry — understanding of how compliance, underwriting, and distribution shape product decisions
• Familiarity with broker distribution models or digital quote-and-bind journeys
• Experience working within large global organisations with offshore delivery teams and group-level governance
• Hands-on experience with AI tools — whether building AI-enabled products, using AI to accelerate discovery, or prototyping with generative AI platforms
• Experience with agentic AI, prompt design, or AI governance in an enterprise context
