Hands-on Product Owner who converts product vision and stakeholder needs into prioritized user stories and acceptance criteria, leads backlog grooming and sprint ceremonies, makes trade-offs, partners with Engineering/Design/Business, and tracks outcomes with product metrics (adoption, usage, defects, cycle time).
Role Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Product Owner who can translate business outcomes into well-prioritized backlog and work closely with engineering to deliver measurable value. This role owns execution and product decisions at the squad level.
Key Responsibilities- Own and Translate product vision and stakeholder needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and accept completed work
- Make trade-off decisions across scope, timelines, and quality
- Partner with Engineering, Design, and Business stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Track delivery outcomes using basic product metrics (adoption, usage, defects, cycle time)
- 6–10 years of experience in Product Owner / Product Analyst / Agile Product roles
- Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum and backlog management practices
- Proven ability to work with engineering teams on complex systems
- Sharp prioritization and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication—clear, concise, and outcome-focused
- Domain experience in Banking/ Payments / Fintech / E-commerce / SaaS
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Aha, Figma
