The opportunity

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will own how Atomi’s products are positioned, understood and sold. This role sits within the Marketing team and plays a critical part in connecting product strategy to real sales conversations.

You’ll turn product capabilities and roadmap into clear, compelling narratives. You’ll lead go-to-market planning, shape messaging and equip Sales with the tools they need to sell confidently in a sales-led environment.

This role owns product marketing end-to-end. You can expect to drive strategy and execution while working closely with a Pedagogy Specialist, Product Managers, Sales, Customer Success, Brand Studio and Growth.

This is a high-impact role with real ownership. If you enjoy clarity, collaboration and seeing your work used in live deals, this role is for you.

At Atomi, we aim to move quickly and keep things transparent. Once you’re into the interview stage, we’ll make sure you get meaningful feedback and insights from the team. For this role, you can expect the process to look like this:

What You'll Do

  • Own product positioning and messaging end to end, translating product capabilities, roadmap and customer needs into clear, credible narratives that sales and marketing teams use with confidence
  • Lead go-to-market planning for new products and major releases, defining launch goals, messaging, timing and activation in partnership with product, design, demand and growth
  • Build and maintain messaging frameworks, proof points and differentiation that bring consistency across campaigns, sales materials and customer conversations
  • Own product sales enablement, creating practical assets such as decks, narratives, FAQs and battlecards that support live deals and objection handling, in collaboration with a Product Enablement (Pedagogy) Specialist
  • Partner closely with product managers to stay aligned on customer problems, competitive context and roadmap direction
  • Work with sales and customer success to gather feedback from the field and continuously improve messaging, enablement and GTM execution

What You'll Bring to Atomi

  • Proven experience in Product Marketing within a SaaS or sales-led environment, with clear examples of launches and enablement you’ve owned
  • Strong storytelling, writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas without losing meaning
  • Experience building sales enablement that is adopted and used in real sales conversations
  • Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor with full ownership from strategy through to execution
  • Confidence collaborating cross-functionally with Pproduct, Sales/CS, Brand Studio and Growth partners
  • Strong organisational skills and judgment, with the ability to prioritise, adapt and move work forward independently

How to apply

Ironically for an education company, we’re not huge sticklers for qualifications. We’re more interested in how your skills and experience can contribute to our team. Make sure to include links to any relevant projects, like your portfolio, writing, GitHub, etc. - whatever helps us understand what you're good at, what you're passionate about, and why you’d be a great fit at Atomi.

We also know great people come from all kinds of backgrounds, so even if you don't meet all the requirements we've listed, you should still apply.

Please note: You'll need Australian working rights for this role.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
