About us
Okendo is a customer engagement platform trusted by 18,000+ of the world’s fastest-growing DTC brands, including industry leaders such as SKIMS, Crunchyroll, Magic Spoon, Frame, Nomad, Buck Mason, and Liquid Death.

We're product-centric, customer-obsessed, and on a mission to build the world's best e-commerce enablement software. If you like being at the bleeding edge of marketing tech and working with passionate people, Okendo is for you.

About the role
We move fast, make decisions with conviction, and build products that set the standard in e-commerce. As a product team, we value collaboration, clear communication, and a bias towards action, and we expect PMs to lead from the front: owning problems, driving alignment, and shipping things that matter.
As a Product Manager, you will shape the direction of our customer engagement platform, working closely with engineering, design, data, and commercial teams to identify the right problems and build the right solutions. You will own the full product lifecycle, from discovery through to market impact, and be accountable for the decisions that move our platform forward. We expect every PM to use tools from Anthropic, OpenAI, Perplexity and others as a core part of how they work: not as an experiment, but as a genuine restructuring of the role that frees up time for the judgment calls that matter.

How you'll make an impact
  • Drive product outcomes across Okendo's suite (Reviews, Referrals, Quizzes, and Loyalty) used by some of the world's best DTC brands to build trust, grow sales, and maximise customer lifetime value.
  • Own the product strategy for your area: identifying high-value opportunities, making a clear case for what to build and why, and translating that into a roadmap that engineering and design can execute against.
  • Raise the bar for how the team works: bringing sharper customer insight, more rigorous thinking, and a faster path from idea to validated solution.

What you will do
  • Build and own your product roadmap, grounded in a clear strategy that connects customer needs to business outcomes.
  • Lead continuous discovery with your Pod, staying close to customers, surfacing insights early, and making informed decisions about what to build next.
  • Own the full product lifecycle: from writing sharp specs and driving cross-functional execution to go-to-market planning and post-launch iteration.
  • Use AI tools daily to draft and refine user stories, documentation, and internal comms; synthesise customer research, support data, and competitor signals into direction; and automate repetitive workflow so your time goes to judgment, not process.
  • Define the metrics that matter, track them rigorously, and share what you learn across the team.
  • Become the voice of the customer and the commercial authority on your product area.
  • Lead without formal authority, setting the standard for how the team works and raising those around you.

About You
  • Strong product instincts: you know how to frame a problem, evaluate a solution space, and make the call when the data is incomplete.
  • A demonstrated habit of using tools from Anthropic, OpenAI, Perplexity and others as a core part of how you work. This isn't a role for someone who dabbles; it's for someone who has fundamentally restructured their workflow around AI.
  • A track record of bringing opportunities to market that have driven measurable business growth.
  • A commercial mindset that keeps the customer at the centre: you understand the link between product decisions and revenue, retention, and market position.
  • Deeply data-driven: you define success upfront, instrument your features, and use what you learn to iterate with purpose.
  • An effective communicator who can influence engineering, design, leadership, and commercial stakeholders and tailor the message to the audience.
  • Experience with complex B2B SaaS products and the go-to-market motions that support them.
  • A high standard for personal performance and a habit of raising those around you

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
