RTE(Radio & Transport Engineering) Customer Experience Product Introduction - Introduce new Radio, Baseband & Site products and solutions (HW/SW) for 5G, 4G and multi-standard, deployed in RAN networks, purpose built and Open RAN.
We are thrilled to offer the position of Product Introduction Manager at Ericsson Japan.You will be planning & leading Product Introductions with customers for new Products and features developed by R&D programs to secure direct customer feedback and proof point validation as well as supporting smooth customer uptake of new products in early deployment or market introductions.
Some of the PI activities are also to meet customer demands for products earlier than GA, as well as support for pre-sales such as customer demo/trials.
You will serve as the main link between Ericsson's R&D and Japanese Customer Units (NRJ). Your focus is on securing efficient Introductions, aligned with local customer needs, supporting Ericsson's "R&D Close to Customer" vision and the "One Voice towards our Customer" principle.

Main Responsibilities
- Work as a Product Introduction Project Manager in RA development projects accountable to plan and lead execution of HW & SW product introduction
for new Products/Features in customer networks, leading activities such as Early delivery, FFI, Demos, Field trials and deployment phase. - PI Project Planning from pre-study to execution phase and PRG, collaborating with Product Management, System Managers and design teams
- Direct interactions with customer units and customers to conduct the PI activities. E.g. Secure and agree the Scope, Plan and resources
for the activities to be performed on customer site - Secure quick feedback from first customer usage of products/features (FFI validation) and from volume deployment of products as well as feedback on usability (CPI)
- Manage Lessons Learned and feedback findings to RA and R&D line organizations
- Collaborate with other Customer Experience units cross HW and RAN (i.e. Engagement, Customer Support, Network Data Analytics teams)
- Be a member of a flexible team of Product Introduction managers within RTE Customer experience with colleagues in Kista, Ottawa and Beijing

- Product Introduction project management and/or Customer Engagement management
- Experience from working at a telecom customer or a customer unit
- High level of technical understanding of DNEW products and solutions, e.g. System design or I&V competence
- Experience in Radio and Baseband products and Development
