Overview
Use your passion for creating awesome apps to develop leading-edge cross-platform mapping and GIS solutions that run on the latest mobile devices. This is a great opportunity to design and develop the next-generation of app building technology.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, designers, testers
- Understand user workflows and define user requirements by testing and analysis of software functions, user interfaces, and GIS methods and practices
- Test software to ensure both development goals and real-world usage scenarios are met
Requirements
- Experience with software project planning and design
- Familiarity with software testing automation tooling
- Applicants must have a keen interest in the collection of new data and verification of existing GIS data with field work
- Background with with mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
- Experience with Esri's ArcGIS product suite
- Ability to work closely with the team and adjust to changes in a constantly evolving environment
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A current 3rd or 4th year Bachelor or Graduate student in computer science, GIS, engineering, mathematics, or related field
- Must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency
Recommended Qualifications
- Basic scripting or programming experience to support testing, workflows, or automation
