ABOUT THE ROLE      

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our Typo team as a Product Developer Assistant for our Lifestore Category. Working from the office, the train, home, the park bench? Where ever our customers’ desk may be, you will focus on developing all the tech, stationery and desk accessories that our customers love and need. As the pivotal link between the buyer and the supplier, you will be responsible for sending accurate information clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders and ensuring Production is completed in a timely manner. Your key areas of focus will be style production, managing production and shipping schedules, approving lab dips, trims, strikes offs and bulk fabrics, garment measurements and fittings, sample coordination and technical drawings for our products. If you are someone who loves developing ethical products that make a difference to the lives of others, then this could be your new role.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


  • Graduate degree / qualification in relevant field i.e. Fashion, Textiles, Production
  • Basic knowledge of product specifications, garment construction and measurement, composition, fabrics and fiber knowledge.
  • Understanding of garment construction and fabrication is highly regarded
  • Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Illustrator.  
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail together with ability to multi-task and prioritise to meet deadlines
