A little about the role…

We have an opportunity for a Product Designer with impressive visual design skills to perform a varied role as part of our Product Design team on an 8 month fixed term contract. In this role which can be performed remotely from anywhere in Australia, you will be responsible for end-to-end design working alongside a cross-functional delivery team as part of your allocated workstream, whilst having flexibility to support other streams as required.

In addition to designing easy to use interfaces and working with Figma design systems, you can also expect to spend some time designing marketing assets and creating sales decks, applying your well developed visual design skills to extend our existing brand. You'll also spend time working on prototypes, participating in user testing sessions, and contributing to customer research and ongoing measurement.

You could be the one if you have…

  • Impressive visual design skills and an interest in gaining more experience in product design

  • Strong UI skills and experience working with UX teams

  • End to end product development experience with strong skills across concept development, interaction and interface design and user flows

  • A variety of examples in your folio, with the ability to communicate rationale and success metrics

  • Experience working effectively with software engineers

  • Experience working with a range of design tools, such as Adobe Suite and Figma

  • Experience designing across a range of platforms and operating systems (e.g. iOS, Android, Web)

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong understanding of visual aesthetics, typography, grid systems, and design principles

  • A flexible approach to work, with enthusiasm to complete a variety of tasks, ranging from designing interfaces to finalising sales decks, and marketing materials

  • A curious mindset and continuous learning orientation
