About The Role
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will drive the technical vision, architecture, and strategy for Jasper’s multi-modal AI platform. This role includes technical leadership and hands-on development, ensuring our teams build full-stack systems that are scalable, performant, and user-friendly. You will lead high-impact initiatives, define best practices, and collaborate closely with engineering and company leadership to set Jasper’s technical direction.
This role is ideal for engineers who balance fast iteration with long-term architectural thinking, thrive in an environment that encourages experimentation and innovation, and are eager to drive impact across the entire stack. You’ll have the opportunity to shape core technical decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute directly to building the next generation of Jasper’s AI-driven products.
This fully remote role is open to candidates located anywhere in Australia.

What you will bring to Jasper

10+ years of experience in software development, with extensive experience in full-stack development.

Deep technical expertise across multiple domains (AI, Cloud, application platforms, etc).

Proven track record of leading transformative projects for customers and their outcomes.

Demonstrated success in a specific technical domain.

Experience in leading and delivering large-scale business-critical projects.

Experience productizing AI or machine learning applications, and translating research into scalable software.
