Working in our Cloud Enablement & Engineering Crew you’ll be leading the design and development of our technology roadmap for our artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software engineering group strategy.  With your Principal level expertise in modern day platform engineering you’ll design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge Gen AI solutions on AWS that will transform our business and customer journey.

We’re interested in hearing from people who:

• Lead the design and development of complex AI models using advanced machine learning algorithms and techniques

• Utilise advanced machine learning techniques to develop and train generative AI models on AWS.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into existing systems and applications

• Develop and maintain high-quality documentation for AI models, including code comments, technical reports, and user guides

• Provide Technical Mentorship and guidance to Engineers in the development and deployment of AI solutions

• Stay ahead of the game in technology, constantly researching emerging technology and advancements in generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning techniques.

Tech skills  

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We do not expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; 

• Proficiency in languages such as Python and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn

• Cloud-based platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services

• Machine learning and deep learning principles and algorithms

• Large datasets and knowledge of Data Pre-Processing Techniques

• Service oriented architectures and associated security

• Distributed and/or low latency platforms

• Enterprise build, development and continuous integration platforms
