Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
We are looking for a Principal Product Designer to be a key driver in the JSM (Jira Service Management) Design team. In this role, you will report into the Head of Design, JSM, and join an organization consisting of multiple teams across India, Australia, and Turkey. As a senior individual contributor, you'll lead strategic design work all aiming to improve product experiences across the service management suite. This role will help Atlassian redefine Service Management practice in this AI-native world, working with talented designers across Atlassian products to produce short- and long-term user-centered design. This Principal Designer will work with heads of design, product and engineering (along with other designers and researchers), to envision an AI-native Service Management world, driving alignment and connection between Atlassian's existing portfolio of products. Leading this space means you will focus on our customer base in 190 countries, having direct impact for tens of thousands of customers and millions of users!

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene
Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
