We’re seeking a Principal Consultant Architect (Lead Solutions Strategist) to join the Rmkble team in Melbourne.

You will act as a strategic leader and business driver as part of our Melbourne team and play a pivotal role in establishing our partnership with Microsoft and unlocking our next phase of growth in the East Coast.

This role will work across all Rmkble’s specialist consulting businesses (Data - AI - Intelligent Automation - Advisory - Strategy - Transformation - Modernisation), which together offer an unparalleled breadth and depth of end-to-end solutions for clients in one seamless engagement.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise with the Microsoft tech stack to solve intricate business challenges across diverse technology domains.

You will provide thought leadership internally and externally (one-to-one, roundtables and larger industry events), identify opportunities and shape solutions; ultimately helping us grow our footprint.

You will support both large-scale and ground-up digital transformation, with a particular focus on Data / AI and Intelligent Automation.

Key Responsibilities

•        Consultative Leadership: Act as the Technical Lead during engagements, presenting solutions to client executives and influencing positive outcomes through clear architectural rationale.

•        Problem & Solution Architecture: Profile client needs / problems and advise on strategic pathways to solve specific business problems, across multiple technology domains and tech stacks.

•        Macro Strategy & Enterprise Architecture: Establish overarching solution architecture and strategies, ensuring they align with the client’s long-term business goals, budgets, and technology standards.

•        Networking & Pre-sales: Actively use your industry network to open doors and profile client needs, shaping pragmatic solutions that help our clients to transform their operations

•        Microsoft Vendor Partnerships: Cultivate and leverage strategic relationships

What You’ll Bring

We're looking for someone who combines technical focus, consulting mindset and wants to play an active role in drumming up new business.

Essential

•        Strategic "Solutioniser": You have 10+ years of experience in project delivery within a consultancy environment and a proven track record of managing evolving solution designs.

•        Data, AI & Copilot Studio solutions: Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Data, AI, and/or Copilot Studio solutions, this is your core domain.

•        Microsoft MVP: You are a Microsoft specialist (current or past MVP), and yet a versatile consultant who is comfortable navigating multiple technology domains and tech stacks.

•        Melbourne Consultancy Experience: Minimum 3 years working within a small-to-medium IT digital transformation consultancy in Melbourne, with exposure to the full pre-sales and delivery lifecycle.

•        Networked & Commercially Driven: You have an active, established network across Melbourne corporate, enterprise, and/or government organisations.

•        Solution Storyteller: You can turn a complex technical architecture into a compelling business case that lands with a CFO as clearly as it does with a solutions team.

•        Technical Tinkerer: You experiment with and keep up to date with the latest Microsoft and broader ICT trends curiosity is your default setting.
