Job DescriptionAbout the Role
Drive product strategy and innovation as Principal AI Product Manager for SEEK's Generative AI portfolio, leading the development of breakthrough AI products that transform the global recruitment landscape. You'll own the complete product vision and roadmap for GenAI applications, translating cutting-edge AI capabilities into products that deliver exceptional user experiences and measurable business outcomes.
This senior product leadership role requires you to orchestrate product strategy across both Capabilities and Applications streams, with primary accountability for GenAI Applications product portfolio. You'll work at the intersection of advanced AI technology and user needs, defining product requirements and go-to-market strategies that establish SEEK as the industry leader in AI-powered recruitment.
The Team
Lead product development within SEEK's Generative AI center of excellence, working with world-class Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and Product Managers who are pushing the boundaries of AI-powered recruitment products.
Product Streams Under Your Leadership:
- Applications Products: Direct product development partnerships with senior teams, embedding Data Scientists to create market-leading GenAI products
- Capabilities Products: Oversee platform products and tools that enable enterprise-wide GenAI product scaling
You'll operate in a dynamic product environment where user needs evolve rapidly and technological possibilities expand weekly, requiring exceptional product intuition and strategic thinking.
What You'll Do
Product Strategy & Vision Leadership
- Own end-to-end product strategy for SEEK's GenAI portfolio, by connecting an understanding of GenAI capabilities with an understanding of SEEK’s marketplace ambitions, to define the role of GenAI across SEEK’s product suite
- Translate complex AI capabilities into compelling product propositions that solve critical user problems, drive business growth and improve competitive differentiation
- Develop comprehensive product roadmaps that balance innovation opportunities with technical feasibility and market readiness
Product Development & Innovation
- Partner with senior product leaders to align on high-impact GenAI product opportunities for SEEK's marketplace ecosystem, as well as what is not highest impact and not to be pursued further
- Guide product partners to frame problems and work through trade-offs when building GenAI products, and work closely with partners, Data Scientist and Engineers from conception through to prototyping, experimenting and launching
- Drive product experimentation strategy, designing and analyzing tests that validate product hypotheses and optimize user outcomes
Cross-Functional Product Leadership
- Function as internal GenAI product consultant to senior product leaders, providing expertise in identifying and building GenAI products
- Manage product lifecycle for multiple GenAI applications, establishing success metrics and measurement frameworks that demonstrate ROI
- Lead product discovery processes and stakeholder communications including product demos and roadmap presentations

Qualifications- Extensive experience in product management or strategy, with demonstrated experience crafting ambitious product visions and roadmaps
- Have successfully collaborated with cross-functional teams at a minimum of Head of level to deliver joint initiatives
- Knowledge of AI/ML and generative AI coupled with a high learning orientation and interest in latest AI concepts to stay current with industry trends in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong problem solver: ability to work through complex and ambiguous problems using a data-driven approach
- Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to engage and translate complex AI concepts for non-technical partners and stakeholders
- Ability to engage with and inspire technical teams, including building a deep understanding of the problem domain and contributing to solution design with data scientists and AI engineers
- An ability to break constraints and get things done, including a willingness to roll-up your sleeves and ‘pitch in’ where required
