The Opportunity 

Shell Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Pricing Operations Business Analyst to join our Pricing team.

This role is responsible for supporting the delivery and administration of pricing activities across the business while working closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders. You will play a key role in maintaining pricing systems, managing product and pricing data, and ensuring pricing information is accuratecompliant and delivered efficiently.

With respect, integrity and honesty, responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery and execution of pricing and product initiatives that align with organisational goals and business objectives. 
  • Maintaining product and pricing information within internal systems, including plans, promotions, product mapping and customer offers. 
  • Working closely with operations and customer teams to optimise pricing processes, system routines and automation activities. 
  • Reviewing, investigating and resolving pricing and product issues while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. 
  • Managing ad hoc pricing corrections, compliance-related fixes and operational pricing updates. 
  • Contributing to major pricing events, including regulated and market price changes and new product launches. 
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect identification, resolution validation and implementation activities. 
  • Performing routine data cleansing, validation and quality assurance activities across pricing, product and customer datasets.
