Platform Engineers are responsible for designing, building, running, and evolving tools, infrastructure, templates, and capabilities to deliver business value. They write code to drive automation in managing our infrastructure and environments.

We are advancing to the next stage of our DevSecOps journey, which will integrate Service Management and Operations within our squad. This expansion is expected to bring numerous benefits and improvement opportunities.
In this enhanced role, you will be tasked with building scalable platform solutions that enable faster and safer delivery through various stages. Additionally, this role will focus on enhancing observability, automating operational activities, and improving overall squad efficiency and effectiveness.
We’re interested in hearing from individuals who:
- Have experience as Software Engineers, DevOps, SRE, or System Engineers in a cloud environment and possess a keen interest in solving complex problems systematically.
- Possess the ability to develop technology designs while collaborating closely with other Platform Engineers.
- Exhibit a proactive approach and consistently seek innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Have a strong understanding of DevOps/SRE best practices, including logging, monitoring, and security.
Technical skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. Familiarity with some of these (or their equivalents) will set you up for success in this team:
- Experience in core AWS services like EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, and AWS Managed services such as Amazon RDS and DynamoDB.
- Proficiency in Python scripting, Bash, PowerShell, or TypeScript to automate tasks, manage configurations, and troubleshoot essential issues.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
- Proficient Linux and Unix configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience delivering scalable solutions on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, etc.
- Good understanding of DevOps and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity CI/CD pipeline, AWS CodePipeline, or AWS CodeBuild to automate deployments.
- Experience with container technology, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
