We are seeking an experienced Platform / Application Support Engineer with 6+ years of overall experience and at least 2 years of hands-on production support. This hybrid role combines L3 application support with development responsibilities, requiring strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to perform code-level fixes, and deliver minor enhancements when needed.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a large-scale digital platform running on AWS cloud infrastructure, consisting of:
- Mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- ReactJS-based web frontends
- 100+ backend microservices (Golang)
- API gateway integrations
- Identity and authentication systems
- Merchant integrations (React & PHP) across e-commerce platforms
- Cloud-native infrastructure on AWS
This role involves 24×7 L2/L3 production support, troubleshooting distributed systems, supporting platform integrations, and ensuring high availability and reliability of business-critical transaction flows.
Key Responsibilities
Production Support & Incident Management
- Provide 24×7 L2/L3 production support for mission-critical applications.
- Monitor system health, respond to alerts/incidents, and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
- Restore services quickly while minimizing impact to customer transactions.
End-to-End Application Flow Troubleshooting
- Diagnose failures across application, integration, and infrastructure layers.
- Troubleshoot customer and merchant transaction flows.
Mobile & Web Application Support
- Support ReactJS-based web applications and mobile apps
