Your role at St John of God Ballarat
We are seeking a passionate and motivated Grade 1 Physiotherapist to join our friendly and dynamic Exercise Rehabilitation Unit on a permanent full-time basis.
As an integral member of our Allied Health team, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to hospital inpatients, working collaboratively with patients and the multidisciplinary team to support positive clinical outcomes.

The Position
In this role, you will:
Provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions for patients and clients, including hydrotherapy treatments where appropriate.
Apply a patient-centred approach to develop individualised physiotherapy goals and treatment plans in partnership with patients.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with multidisciplinary colleagues, internal teams and external stakeholders.
Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to collaborative patient care planning.
Utilise evidence-based patient outcome measures, patient feedback and quality assurance activities to support continuous improvement.
Participate in the physiotherapy department's weekend roster, where required.
Contribute to the education and supervision of students and support education and training programs as requested.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and practice in accordance with professional standards, organisational policies and relevant legislation.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
A recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Experience, or a strong interest, in delivering evidence-based physiotherapy interventions within a clinical setting.
Experience or an interest in hydrotherapy will be highly regarded.
Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
A commitment to patient-centred care, professional development and continuous improvement.
Postgraduate qualifications or further study in a relevant area will be highly regarded..

Salary - $72,992 to $117,553 plus 12% Superannuation
