The Performance & Reward, Lead is responsible for supporting the GM Performance & Reward with activities across the entire performance and reward lifecycle to support Latitude’s strategy & priorities, as well as the attraction & retention of high performing employees.
The Performance & Reward team within the wider People & Culture team (P&C) and are responsible for the delivery of key strategic initiatives, operational remuneration & benefits services, cyclical reward processes, executive remuneration & governance, as well as the preparation of remuneration related Board papers, working closely with Finance, Company Secretary and other stakeholders.
This role plays a lead and will make a meaningful impact across the team and covers both general and executive remuneration.
In this role, you’ll:
Lead and partner on performance and remuneration matters to our P&C team and business leaders across both range of responsibilities including:
Performance and Reward
- Play the lead role in the delivery of the annual end of year review process, including planning, communication, delivery and training of the cyclical performance and reward cycle.
- Providing practical advice and analytical support to our P&C team, finance, other stakeholders and leaders in the business on remuneration, performance and reward matters.
- Lead and maintain the job evaluation and maintains job architecture and related cyclical operational remuneration services, including maintenance of competitive frameworks, including benchmarking, market analysis/insights and salary structures.
- Lead and collaborate on projects to ensure timely delivery of performance and reward initiatives.
Executive Remuneration & Governance
- Collaborate with others in the day-to-day operation of employee share plans including the Payroll, Finance and Governance teams at Latitude and the company’s share plan administrator
- Supports the preparation of remuneration governance matters, including remuneration reports, board paper preparation and other financial or regulatory disclosures.
- Contributes to the design and implementation of reward programs aligned with business goals, including monitoring effectiveness of existing frameworks and policies.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Human Resources highly desirable, or a related discipline or equivalent knowledge
- Demonstrate Latitudes values (Take Ownership, Pursue Excellence, Win Together, Create Tomorrow)
- Experience of working in a medium/large ASX listed organisation in a broad-based remuneration & benefits role, including executive remuneration experience. Financial Services or Professional Services experience desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, lead initiatives, and oversee complex programs with precision and accountability.
- Financial and data analytical ability and quantitative skills, intermediate financial modelling skills.
- Good communication, influencing and interpersonal skills and confident in building relationships with stakeholders.
- Proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
