Job Description
As a People Services Advisor, you will be the primary contact for all People and Culture inquiries. Your main duty is to advise and coach people leaders and employees on People and Culture policies, processes, platforms, and the employee lifecycle.
Innovation is key in this role. You will identify areas for process improvements and suggest ways to simplify and automate People Services.
This is a permanent role, working flexibly from our Sydney or Melbourne office.
In this role you will:
- Provide advice, guidance, and coaching to people leaders and employees on People & Culture policies, processes, platforms, and the employee lifecycle, in line with our tiered support model.
- Identify and contribute to project activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
- Collaborate with or escalate to relevant People & Culture areas when handling employee matters and queries.
- Prepare and manage employee lifecycle-related documents.
- Oversee pre-employment checks and onboarding requirements for new starters and ensure these are compliant in line with company policy.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Suggest and implement ways to simplify and automate People Services processes.
- Collaborate with the team and wider People & Culture to streamline platforms and processes.
- Help implement processes and plans to manage and reduce operational risks.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a Human Resource function
- Qualification in Human Resources or related discipline, desired
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan, organise, and set priorities
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in HRIS (Workday) and Service Now platforms
- A strong understanding and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive innovation
