The Opportunity

We are seeking a People Operations Coordinator to join our national People Operations team in either our Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney. This opportunity is a 6-month maximum term contract.

As a People Operations Coordinator, you will deliver efficient, high-quality support across the employee lifecycle, helping create a positive and consistent experience for our people. You will use digital tools, automation, approved AI-enabled solutions and data insights to improve service delivery, maintain reliable people processes and support the ongoing transformation of People Operations.

What you’ll do

  • Manage employee lifecycle events including onboarding, movements, parental leave, and departures.

  • Maintain accurate employee data and manage business processes within in our People information system, Workday.

  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives using a variety of digital tools

  • Support in the creation and maintenance of standard employee documentation such as creating contracts, initiating and tracking pre-employment checks.

  • Coordinate induction sessions and maintain onboarding materials.

  • Communicate professionally using templates and process guides.

  • Monitor shared inboxes and service platforms to resolve queries promptly.

  • Support audit and regulatory activities.

  • Escalate risks appropriately.

  • Support legal practice compliance processes. Collaborate with IT, Payroll, Finance, and other teams to ensure smooth data flow.

  • Assist with WHS and Wellbeing initiatives.

  • Generate reports to support decision-making.

  • Maintain employment-related materials and team resources.

  • Contribute to People projects with a proactive, improvement mindset.

  • Provide basic administration support when needed (e.g. filing, mail outs and invoicing).

What you’ll bring

  •  A minimum of 6 months experience in an HR coordination or administration role.

  • Demonstrated success in a medium to large professional services organisation is highly desirable.

  • Previous experience with HRIS (experience with Workday preferred but not required).

  • Confidence using the full Microsoft Suite including proven history using reporting tools such as Excel.

  • Comfort using and learning systems such as ServiceNow, and Contract Express.

  •  Tertiary HR qualification or equivalent work experience. Strong attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills across various mediums including group settings, presentations, face-to-face, verbal and written.

  • A clear passion for people and building relationships.
