People, Culture & Wellbeing Business Partner

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) Asia Pacific is seeking a passionate and results-driven People & Culture professional to join our team in a hybrid role based at our national support office in Rowville, VIC. In this role, you will partner with our NAPA, Two Wheel Division, and Repco store networks across Victoria and Tasmania, and serve as a key strategic partner toour Sales and Operations leaders.

This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to work in a progressive business experiencing local and global alignment and strategic growth. Reporting to the General Manager, People, Culture & Wellbeing (ANZ), you will collaborate closely with People Leaders to deliver pragmatic, commercially sound people planning and advice. This genuine business partnering role will allow you to expand your skills in a supportive, challenging, and inclusive environment.
About the role of PCW Business Partner:

  • Partner with leaders as a trusted advisor, proactive deliverer, and impactful coach across all People & Culture functions
  • Lead talent and succession planning initiatives to improve our talent pipeline
  • Support and advise on performance management, employee relations, and complex workplace investigations
  • Drive commercial outcomes through effective change leadership, including merger and acquisition support, integration and project implementation
  • Lead and implement robust succession, talent, and workforce planning to build a strong pipeline for future business needs
  • Proactively manage workforce performance and support leaders in building high performing, engaged teams
  • Manage all cyclic HR activities within your area of responsibility, ensuring alignment with the overall GPC People Plan
  • Support safety programs and initiatives, in partnership with the WHS team
  • Contribute positively and collaboratively to all P&C deliverables as an engaged member of the broader People, Culture & Wellbeing team.

  • Tactical experience in multi-site sales operations
  • Personable, proactive and dedicated to building strong working relationships, engaging with all levels of our business
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent coach, communicator, planner and influencer
  • Adaptable, flexible, and embraces change initiatives while contributing to continuous improvement
