What We Are Looking For: 

Partners closely with managers and leaders to deliver people initiatives that enable organisational performance and engagement.

Provides hands-on support across for employees across Australia & Philippines the full employee lifecycle, offering practical advice and coaching to managers on ER, performance, and workforce planning matters. In addition, you’ll contribute to key projects focused on leadership capability, culture, and compliance as the organisation continues to evolve. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and managers, providing practical coaching and guidance across a broad range of People & Culture matters.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders to translate business strategy into people priorities, including workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and organisational capability.
  • Provide clear, pragmatic advice to ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal people policies across Australia, the Philippines, and other applicable jurisdictions.
  • Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations, performance management, grievances, restructures, and disciplinary processes, with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Support organisational design, role clarity, and change initiatives as the business continues to scale.
  • Partner with leaders to develop and deliver clear, effective people-related communications across performance cycles, change initiatives, and organisational updates.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to support hiring priorities and role design, ensuring appropriate leveling, compensation, and internal equity aligned with existing team structures.
  • Analyse engagement data and people insights to identify trends and support initiatives that drive a positive and high-performing culture.
  • Stay informed on emerging people trends, legislative changes, and industry best practices to proactively inform people strategies and recommendations.
  • Review, develop, and refine people policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose, compliant, and aligned with business needs.
  • Lead and support annual people programs, including performance reviews, remuneration cycles, succession planning, and talent development activities.
  • Promote continuous improvement across people practices, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Conduct exit interviews for key roles and synthesise insights to support retention and organisational learning.
  • Lead and contribute to cross-functional projects aligned with organisational priorities. 
Required Skills & Qualifications: 
  • 7+ years HR experience working with global/international teams and excelling in high growth, global organizations.
  • Strong presence with highly collaborative approach and ability to quickly build strong and trusted relationships across leadership teams, cross-functional partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Tech teams (Engineering, Product & UX Design,) and GTM teams in a geographically dispersed and remote first environment
  • Business-first mindset with an ability to work at multiple levels
  • Critical thinker and analytic-minded with success in developing data-driven solutions to the business.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations, complex interpersonal dynamics, and change management
  • Knowledge of Australian and employment laws in other jurisdictions (e.g. Unites States, Philippines), regulations, and best practices (both IR and WHS).
  • Proven experience shaping people plans that support business strategy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Significant experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Well versed in people analytics and familiarity with using HRIS systems, with an ability to influence with data
  • Flexibility to travel interstate, supporting teams across multiple states (International travel as required)
