A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

As a People & Culture Manager, Australia, you will play a critical role in translating the

organizations goals into tangible people initiatives and providing strong internal support.
 

You will drive local People and Culture excellence and process improvement. You will build and develop trusted relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders to gain insights into their needs, challenges, and opportunities, and offer tailored solutions accordingly. You will support the growth of our business by establishing and improving current business processes.

People & Culture:

  •  Creating and maintaining processes, procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, as well as the Company’s policies.
  • Supporting business with end-to-end HR processes, including but not limited to performance reviews, employee surveys, contract generation, benefit administration, employee engagement and employment relations matters.
  • Provide the Management team and staff with comprehensive, professional HR advice including legislative and contractual interpretation
  • Support the creation and execution of our Employer Branding and EVP strategy.
  • Coordinate and support Occupational Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (OHSW) activities
  • Induction and onboarding, performance reviews, grievance procedures, performance management, exit management.
  • Initiate and implement programs to support employee engagement and to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Keeping abreast of salary trends including opportunities and managing the remuneration review and internal movement process.
  • Design, consult, coordinate and manage workforce and develop processes that address issues such as organization structure, job designs, succession planning, employee retention and organizational change management.
  • Monitor changes and ensure compliance with all legislative requirements.
  • Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale, motivation, engagement and capacity to implement change
  • Provide support, advice and coach managers in all employee relations activities including performance management conduct and behavior and grievances.
  • Undertake or manage workplace investigations as required.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for Australia including head office roles and service centres, from job posting through to offer stage.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to talent management
  • Ensure a smooth and positive experience for candidates by communicating promptly and providing feedback throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate interviews, manage follow-ups, and maintain professional communication with all applicants.
  • Proactively build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Conduct police checks and background verification on shortlisted candidates, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Administer aptitude and skills assessments to evaluate candidates' capabilities, ensuring they align with role expectations and company standards.
A BIT ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field. (beneficial)
  • Certification in HR or related field
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Approachable, authentic, commercial, emotionally mature with sound judgment and a focus on solutions.
