The Bunnings People Advisory Team is on the hunt for an aspiring People & Culture Advisor (Coordinator) to join us in this newly created entry-level role at our National Support Office in Burnley (just behind Richmond).
About the Role
Join a large, dynamic team supporting over 55,000 team members nationwide! Reporting to our People Advisory Team Leader, you'll support a team of advisors as the first point of contact for a wide variety of HR cases across the country. Initially, this role will focus on the triage, assessment and allocation of employee relations matters, with the goal of advancing to a go-expert to as your experience grows with the business. You'll work a flexible 8-hour roster between 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to attend the Support Office three days a week.
As a People Advisor (Coordinator) you will
Support the triage and allocation of employee relations grievances and investigations
Resolve matters within your skill set
Be the guiding light for leaders over the phone
Track and record cases using our cutting-edge HR case management system
While this role will be initially be treated as entry level, you will have the potential to advance your capability and skill set, with the goal of resolving complex employee relations and Fair Work Commission matters as you progress your experience.
About You
Employee relations experience is desirable, but not mandatory. We’re mainly interested in candidates that:
have a strong interest in employee relations matters
are resilient
have a strong growth mindset
are technically astute, efficient and commercially minded
are professional, courteous and respectful
are excellent communicators with strong interpersonal skills
can work well in a team
can demonstrate genuine proficiency in the use of software, apps, Microsoft suite and other computer related programs etc.
Graduates or students in a relevant discipline (Law, HR, Business, Commerce, Industrial Relations etc.) are encouraged to apply.
