As the People Analytics & System Lead you’ll play an important role as the Product Owner for all People & Culture systems, maintain the database of all employee-related information, produce business required reports and dashboards, and provide insights to assist the business in managing their people and people-related strategies.

You will be the custodian of people data and responsible for the overall data integrity and functionality of People & Culture systems. The People Analytics & Systems Lead will interpret business needs, scope requirements and liaise with a variety of stakeholders (including IT) to design and build optimum solutions, deliver metrics and evolve to sophisticated and intuitive analytics and insights.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

Reporting & Analytics

  • Establish and embed people metrics, reporting and data systems.
  • Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards for Board, Remuneration & People committee, Management and the business.
  • Create custom and periodic People & Culture reports/dashboards, providing commentary and recommendations from this analysis on matters such as cost reduction, headcount, absenteeism, diversity and inclusion, workforce mix, and leave management.
  • Undertake research to develop robust and consistent metrics for monitoring performance, including lead
  • and lag indicators.
  • Provide analysis and insights to identify trends and root causes of workforce metrics.
  • Lead program of work towards leveraging software tools and cloud technology to automate report preparation and distribution, with a focus on simple and intuitive data visualisation.
  • Work with Diversity & Inclusion Lead to provide collate and report data required for annual WGEA report
  • submission.

Data Management

  • Custodian of people data and responsible for the overall data integrity.
  • Maintain master data file that brings together employee data from multiple systems.
  • Ensure data is complete and accurate (e.g. data cleaning).
  • Keep up to date with Latitude’s requirements and ensure data is collected, formatted and stored to enable reports to be generated.

People Systems Ownership

  • Product owner for all People & Culture systems, including Workday, and CultureAmp
  • ensuring flow of data and integration as required.
  • Responsible for the overall functionality of People & Culture systems.
  • Work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure integration of People systems Payroll and Leave
  • Management systems.
  • Creation of a People & Culture systems roadmap that continuously improves and optimises functionality, automation, cost, integration and employee experience.
  • Deep dive investigation into Latitude’s current HRIS (Workday) implementation and provide assessment
  • on each module’s functionality, how currently being used and any recommendations for improvement.
  • As changes to People & Culture systems may occur, facilitate UAT and other end to end systems
  • management as required.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures to ensure processes are mapped out and our business understands how to use our People & Culture systems

Continuous Improvement

  • Drive continued automation, process improvements to enhance the employee experience.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to shape a strategy that supports growth and continuous
  • improvement.
  • Engage with internal and external partners to trouble-shoot system queries.
  • Train and support the People & Culture team to improve their data and systems knowledge.
  • Optimise system solutions, including problem analysis, scoping, planning, resourcing and governance.

Ideally, we’re looking for someone:

  • Degree qualified, preferable in HR or Data and Analytics.
  • Strong reporting and systems experience, with knowledge in HRIS -WorkDay preferred.
  • Experience working with complex systems, preparing and analysing data for internal and external
  • stakeholders.
  • Experience and / or exposure through a direct or indirect working relationship with Payroll, P&C
  • Operations, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development and Remuneration and Benefits.
  • Experience in developing fit-for-purpose analysis, requirements gathering and recommendations.
  • Experience in complex problem solving, mediating decision making in addition to engaging with
  • technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly analytical with a passion for data, reporting and systems.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence and visualisation systems (e.g., Tableau/Power BI or equivalent) and
  • data analysis techniques preferred (e.g., correlations, regression analysis, structural equation modelling).
  • High proficiency in MS Excel (i.e. pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas and advanced charting
  • functions).
  • Strong communicator who can translate data and information for stakeholders.
  • Solutions oriented and always looking to improve and better the experience for our people.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to identify organisational and process improvement needs and analyse options.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with ability to build trust, negotiate and influence stakeholders.
  • Authentic and self-starter, someone who takes ownership and drives for outcomes.
