We are looking for a Payroll Professional to join our HCM team and start a rewarding career as an SAP Consultant specialising in Payroll systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is either an experienced processor of SAP payroll, or a payroll systems consultant who wants to transition into the SAP space. We will provide you with on-the-job growth and training opportunities to help you become a successful SAP Consultant. 

This is an ideal entry point for somebody who is interested in transitioning from an end-user role to a functional consulting career.

The role can be performed in a hybrid work-from-home setting, with occasional travel for key project deliverables, or based at one of our offices across Australia.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Training and on-the-job experience in delivering SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) projects
  • Assist in delivering SAP Payroll solutions that improve and streamline clients’ payroll processes.
  • Learn to support SAP SuccessFactors Payroll systems, addressing client queries and troubleshooting payroll-related issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth system operation.
  • Learn to maintain and configure SAP SuccessFactors Payroll systems, contributing to system updates and improvements.
  • Gain exposure to SAP project and implementation activities as your skills and expertise grow.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customers’ payroll operations.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, providing excellent service and support as you develop into a consultant role.
  • The opportunity to expand your knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors solutions beyond the payroll focus.

Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally, a bachelor's degree in a related subject
  • A minimum of five years of experience working in a payroll-related role, such as a payroll officer, payroll specialist, or payroll systems role 
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes in Australia including applicable legislation.
  • High level of IT affinity and keen interest to expand in a systems-focused role.
  • User experience working with SAP
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
