About the Role

    This is a commercially focused partnerships role measured primarily on partner-sourced pipeline and new business contribution. You will build and activate a strategic partner ecosystem - spanning technology platforms, agencies, consultants, and industry organisations - that generates qualified introductions and supports Pattern's growth across the Australian market.

    You'll work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop joint go-to-market initiatives, align on target accounts, and convert partner relationships into measurable revenue outcomes. This role is ideal for someone with a strong business development instinct who thrives on building relationships and driving results through external networks.

What You'll Be Doing

    Partnership Development

  • Identify, prioritise, and build relationships with strategic partners across the ecommerce and digital ecosystem - including technology platforms, marketing technology providers, ecommerce platforms, agencies, and complementary service providers

  • Position Pattern as a preferred ecommerce and marketplace partner within the Australian market

  • Maintain a pipeline of potential new partners and manage existing relationships to drive ongoing value

  • Secure 3–5 new strategic partnerships per year and maintain 10–15 active partnerships at any time. An active partnership is defined as a partner we have up to date account mapping with and an active referral process as well as co-marketing initiatives being executed. 

  • Pipeline Generation & Sales Collaboration

  • Generate qualified introductions and new business opportunities through your partner network

  • Align closely with Account Executives and the broader Sales team on target accounts and co-selling opportunities

  • Facilitate partner introductions that accelerate deal momentum and contribute to bookings

  • Participate in sales planning to identify where partner involvement can open or advance opportunities

  • Track and report on partner-sourced pipeline performance, using data to refine strategy

  • Partner Go-To-Market Activation

  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market initiatives with priority partners, including co-marketing campaigns, webinars, joint content, and industry roundtables

  • Deliver at least one joint marketing initiative per month in collaboration with the Marketing team

  • Work with the Head of Marketing to plan and coordinate partner events — including roundtables, dinners, and industry activations — ensuring they are well-executed and commercially aligned

  • Maintain a forward-looking calendar of partnership activity and sponsorships

  • Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for Australian partners, building trust and maintaining regular engagement

  • Run structured planning sessions with priority partners to identify collaboration opportunities

  • Stay across partner roadmaps and strategic priorities to surface new opportunities

What You'll Need to Thrive

    Must-haves

  • Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline or qualified opportunities through external relationships

  • Experience within ecommerce, digital marketing, SaaS, or technology ecosystems

  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders

  • A proactive, commercially minded approach — you connect the dots between partnerships and revenue

  • Comfort operating in an environment where success is tied to measurable outcomes

  • Australian work rights (citizen or permanent resident)

  • Should-haves

  • Experience collaborating with sales teams on target account strategies and co-selling

  • Proven track record building and activating partner programs that drive pipeline

  • Strong communication and presentation skills — you represent Pattern externally with confidence

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot

  • Existing relationships within the Australian ecommerce, martech, or digital agency ecosystem

  • Experience coordinating partner events or industry activations

  • Exposure to co-marketing campaigns and joint go-to-market execution
