Working at Transurban is different; it’s a place where you can see the benefits of your work play out in real life, every day. We create city-sized solutions—building and operating safer, smarter, and more sustainable roads—to solve pressing transport challenges that are slowing cities down.

About the role

Transurban is on an ambitious journey to develop Australia’s first automotive-focused loyalty ecosystem. By partnering with a broad range of favourite brands and building world-class, data-driven capabilities, we’re creating exceptional experiences for members and delivering meaningful savings on their everyday expenses. We’re searching for a creative, data-driven and results-focused Partner Marketing Lead to plan, execute, and optimise targeted marketing campaigns that promote partner offers and drive meaningful engagement. This hands-on role is centred on digital marketing excellence, content creation, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in shaping a new loyalty program from the ground up—helping us deliver value to millions of members.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Develop and implement best-in-class, data-driven marketing campaigns that drive engagement with partner offers and the loyalty program

  • Collaborate with partners and internal teams to design campaign strategies aligned with program goals and member interests

  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including insights, channel planning, creative development, timing, and optimisation

  • Track and analyse campaign performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion, ROI, and value delivered to partners and members

  • Identify trends and insights to refine future campaigns and improve overall effectiveness

  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to trial new approaches and elevate campaign performance

  • Create engaging, on-brand content tailored to different member segments across email, social, web, and in-app channels

  • Write compelling and persuasive copy that drives action and enhances member experience

  • Work closely with marketing, analytics, product, and partner management teams to deliver cohesive and effective campaigns

  • Coordinate with external partners and agencies to align on objectives and deliverables

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate campaign progress and results

  • Assist in managing partner campaign budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery

  • Stay informed about industry trends, member preferences, and competitive activity to inform campaign strategies

  • Use market research and member feedback to continually improve content and campaign performance

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills, including:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business

  • Proven experience in campaign management, copywriting, and communications—experience in loyalty or rewards programs is highly regarded

  • Strong understanding of customer engagement strategies and loyalty programs or retail e-commerce

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Experience building connected omni-channel customer journeys across owned digital channels

  • A results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering meaningful customer value

  • Experience with digital marketing channels including email, social media, and web

  • Exposure to AI, analytics and/or marketing automation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Copilot, ChatGPT, Salesforce, Braze, etc.)

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously

  • If you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application

With a career at Transurban, you’ll enjoy a range of benefits, including:

Flexible working options, including the ability to purchase up to six weeks of additional leave each year
16 weeks paid parental leave (regardless of gender or carer status), plus superannuation on unpaid leave
Career growth and leadership development opportunities
Wellbeing support—from Headspace to EAP and wellness facilities
Share offers and discounted insurance benefits
Team social events, volunteer days, and community give-back initiatives

We offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests. Have a conversation with us about how this could work for you.

We embrace diversity with a foundation of safety, wellbeing and inclusion; where everyone belongs. We treat everyone with fairness, consideration and respect, regardless of gender, gender identity, marital or family status, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, religious beliefs, cultural or socio-economic background, perspective, and experience – whether they work for us or not. We want to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe to express ideas, questions and concerns.

We strongly encourage applications from candidates of diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people living with disability. If you require any adjustments or support during the recruitment process, please contact us at [email protected].

If you'd like, I can also format this for LinkedIn, create a shorter version, or adjust the tone to be more energetic or more corporate.

What you need to know about the Melbourne Tech Scene

Home to 650 biotech companies, 10 major research institutes and nine universities, Melbourne is among one of the top cities for biotech. In fact, some of the greatest medical advancements were conceptualized and developed here, including Symex Lab's "lab-on-a-chip" solution that monitors hormones to predict ovulation for conception, and Denteric's vaccine for periodontal gum disease. Yet, the thousands of people working in the city's healthtech sector are just getting started, to say nothing of the tech advancements across all other sectors.
