The Partner Marketing & Events Specialist will report to and collaborate with the Senior Partner Marketing Manager, playing a critical role in our verticalised Marketing team, driving impactful Event and go-to-market Partnership initiatives.

Whilst enhancing our brand presence, this role requires a strategic and analytical thinker who can work at pace whilst managing various priorities, delivering quality leads within their target vertical to feed to our Sales team. The successful candidate is someone who can proactively identify challenges, solve problems, and hold themselves accountable to improve outcomes and drive business growth. 
As Partner Marketing & Events Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the marketing initiatives for a selected priority vertical. You will be required to collaborate and share insights locally and globally, to support the team with initiatives that enable the wider Marketing team to successfully meet objectives.


What you will be doing:

  • Events
    • Oversee end-to-end event calendar, planning, logistics, and execution of select Partner events, Podium events and Trade Shows, ensuring seamless operations, budget adherence, exceptional attendee experiences and attendance
    • Ideate, identify and test & learn new event formats for both customers and prospects
    • Utilise analytical skills to assess performance, measure ROI, and identify areas for optimisation. Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and create reports highlighting key metrics and insights, using findings to improve future event strategies
  • Partnerships
    • Develop and implement innovative Partner marketing initiatives that highlight Podium's unique features and benefits, driving new business through Partnerships, heavily leveraging virtual events
    • Execute and manage virtual event calendar, in collaboration with Partnerships, Integrations and Sales teams
    • Create compelling, bespoke content for various channels, including presentation decks, email, text and direct mail campaigns to generate excitement and engagement
  • Collaboration
    • Work cross-functionally with local and international internal teams including sales, marketing, and product to align efforts with overall company goals. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, partners, and stakeholders
  • Brand Representation
    • Ensure consistent and compelling brand representation across all touchpoints including design, marketing collateral and communications
  • Occasional interstate travel will be required to event locations to oversee on-site logistics and represent Podium with Sales and Senior Leadership


What you should ideally have:

  • 2-4 years of Marketing experience, preferably with a Retail and/or Auto Services Marketing background
  • Commercially minded and results driven mindset, with demonstrated success in the management of Events and Partnerships
  • Exceptional project management and organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in event management software and CRM tools including Salesforce
  • The ability to strategise and implement critical campaigns from ideation to launch
  • Understanding of a B2B SaaS marketing function, funnel, and digital marketing strategies & tactics
  • Experience within the automotive industry would be advantageous
