Perpetual Group is an ASX-listed company (ASX:PPT) headquartered in Sydney, Australia, currently consisting of 11 leading brands across three distinct businesses: Asset Management, Wealth Management and Corporate Trust.  

Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.

An exciting opportunity to be part of the wider Perpetual Private business and the Priority Life team.

About the role

As a Partner, you will:

Lead the team of Advisers with:

  • Protecting and growing the existing insurance book

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referrers

  • Seeking and winning new business clients

  • Attending Medical Conferences to source new leads

  • Servicing of existing client needs; contacting clients to maintain strong relationships and review of their insurance portfolio is still appropriate for their circumstances

  • Overseeing insurance applications/underwriting/new business follow up

  • Claims management

  • Provide support to the Lead Partner in decision-making.

  • Mentor and develop the Operations Manager.

  • Adviser talent acquisition and retention

  • Protect and grow revenue

  • Identify and find innovation opportunities to future proof business for organic growth

  • Special projects, as required.

  • Maintain CPD points in line with the licensee requirements.

About you

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Risk Adviser.

  • Experience with team leadership

  • Extensive knowledge of personal risk insurance – Life, TPD, Trauma, Income Protection and Business Expense cover including claims management.

  • Proficiency with Xplan (including Risk Researcher), Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Education; In line with FASEA requirements.
